Co-hosted by PTT and EGAT, Future Energy Asia was a three-day exhibition and summit held in Thailand. It was attended by over 50 countries and 80 companies worldwide and had more than 4,000 visiting energy professionals. 200+ leading industry speakers were present to create a conversation around ways energy needs to be revolutionized in order to embrace the challenges of the new world. The event provided a business platform to Asia’s renewable, power generation, natural gas, and LNG industries, who came together to discuss and identify strategies and solutions.

The event commenced on July 20th, 2022 and concluded on July 22nd, 2022. Future Energy Asia was co-located with Future Mobility Asia, which was an event fronting the decarbonization of the transportation and mobility industry. Both covered discussions of consumer-centric business models and the digital transformation of energy and mobility.

The summit was attended by Muneer Godil, Owner and Managing Director of MMG Engineering. There he met with the Italian ambassador, who welcomed him in the Italian Pavilion, and discussed sustainable energy developments with him. He also met Cannon Bono Energia, the Italian boiler supplier, and discussed higher efficiency in thermal heaters and boilers at length.

Mr. Godil also spoke to the Vice President of Babcock & Wilcox USA, wherein the latest technologies for sustainable development projects were discussed with regard to energy. Mr. Godil also connected with a representative from Baker Hughes, one of the world’s largest American oil field services companies and one of the Bronze Sponsors of the event. The two enjoyed the opportunity to discuss GT testing equipment.

Discussions regarding carbon credit trading took place with one of the leading consultants from Asia Pacific, while conversations regarding gas compression technology took place with one of the leading Japanese vendors of energy efficiency. Moreover, Mr. Muneer Godil spoke about sustainable MV and energy management systems with a representative from Schneider Electrics.

Buyers and stakeholders were both equally welcome at Future Energy Asia, opening companies to multi-billion dollar opportunities for investment. “This event is recognized as one of the global meeting points for energy industries,” says H.E. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, the Minister of Energy of Thailand. The event is seen and attended by the biggest leaders and giants in the energy industry every year, bringing together great minds, opportunity for learning, and endless possibilities for growth in all directions.
